"You seem to have a thousand problems while your body is healthy, but when it gets sick, only one remains..."
Taking care of yourself and your health is now a priority.
I recently returned from a unique wellness hotel in India – Six Senses Vana.
It was important and useful for me to compare the wellness methods and get my own impression of the resort, which is exactly what I did.
Having had considerable experience visiting wellness resorts, I would like to highlight a few features of the hotel.
• Location in the Himalayas – perhaps I'm too sensitive, but I felt the power and energy of these places with my body, from the ether-rich air of the forest to the relaxing vibrations of the highlands.
• Several centers in one place – an Ayurvedic center, a center for Chinese medicine and Tibetan practices, Sowa Rigpa, whose opening was blessed by the Dalai Lama, and a center for natural healing methods.
• A personalized approach - upon arrival, I underwent both a hardware screening and a diagnostic test using traditional Indian Ayurvedic medicine, which identifies imbalances. I'm always amazed at the accuracy of these tests, as I already know something about myself.
Following the examination, I was prescribed procedures under the Detox program (massages, yoga sessions, hydrotherapy and body wraps, acupuncture), the need for breathing exercises was demonstrated, nutritional recommendations were given, and boosters were prescribed (special drinks, such as freshly squeezed beetroot, pomegranate, lime, and ginger juice, or saffron tea, spice-based tea, etc.), all at specific times. The schedule was packed!
Another revelation for me was the sound healing procedure. I cried with emotion, feeling the resonance of sounds in my body. This is one way to release bioenergetic blockages, and apparently there were quite a few of them.
• Digital detox is a blessing that doesn't seem so at first.
• And what's also important is that the hotel and medical centers are modern, the common areas are stunningly designed, the rooms are comfortable and convenient, the safety, the atmosphere, and the silence, where you can hear birds singing and the rustle of falling leaves.
As I write this, my heart skips a beat with gratitude for this experience. I highly recommend it!
